The PRS-TDM-MECH (Two Door Module with mechanical relays) is used to expand the door/reader/input/output capacity on the PRS-2DR Starter. ideal for installs or retrofits where power supplies and wiring are pre-existing. Up to 4 can be added within a single PRS-Door controller for a maximum of 8 doors.
Power
12VDC power is provided from the PRS-Master controller via interconnect strips. Can be externally powered.
Communication
RS-458 communication between PRS-Master and TDM expansion panels.
Ease of installation
Easy to set addressing via dip switches. Clear labeling of inputs, outputs and reader ports. LED indicators for input, output and connectivity.
Output
6 outputs: 4 mechanical relays with N/O and N/C outputs, each capable of switching up to 5A, 30VDC or 35VAC, and 2 SSR relays capable of switching 1A, 30VDC or 30VAC. The outputs can be reassigned to any door with any function for increased door functionality.
Input
6 Digital or Supervised inputs in total. These inputs are fully configurable and can be assigned to any door for more complex setups.
